Sales Operations Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

Order Management:

• Issue purchase orders and work collaboratively with vendors.
• Process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Field calls and messages from our sales team and customers related to order changes; process as needed to meet expectations within reason.

Logistics Coordination:

• Assist Sales Operations Manager with fleet logistics to ensure safe, efficient, profitable, accurate and timely deliveries to customers.

Yard Operations:

• Ensure strict adherence to inventory and order management process to prevent inventory loss, write-offs and inaccurate data.

Customer Support:

• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Process and assist with all aspects of the customer journey

Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, accounting and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.
• Foster strong relationships with customers and Barrett team members.
• Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as the team needs you.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of customer service experience, inside sales and/or operations support
• Self-starter and hardworking.
• College degree in agriculture, business, marketing or equivalent experience.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving ability.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, Inventory Management System, AgVance, Microsoft Suite).
• Ability to thrive under pressure during peak season.
• Minimal travel required. But periodically for meetings, and HQ working days as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
