Fire Sprinkler Installer Trainee

BSI has teamed up with a leading full-service fire systems provider in Orange County, serving a broad region across Southern California.

We are looking for a full-time Fire Sprinkler Installer Trainee to support foremen and team members in the installation of fire sprinkler systems on various construction projects, including tenant improvements, new builds, underground installations, and retrofits.

Job Duties

• Assist in the installation of fire sprinkler systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
• Follow company and industry standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance safety knowledge.
• Work with integrity and uphold company values.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience with fire sprinklers preferred
• Basic mechanical skills
• Basic measurement skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fire codes.
• Fabricate and secure pipes using hand tools.
• Proficiency with tools such as saws, drills, wrenches, and pipe threaders.
• Commitment to safety practices.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of NFPA13 standards (Preferred)
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (Preferred)
• High School diploma or GED
