The Position
The Accounts Receivable Analyst, reporting to the Assistant Controller, will provide general support to the Assistant Controller as it relates to the collection of receivables and the application of cash receipts to the General Ledger. Will also be responsible for the invoicing of supplies from vendor invoices to the customer’s account as directed by the approving manager.

The compensation for this position starts at $26/hr, depending on experience.

This shift works 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.

Your Day-to-Day

• Manage customer accounts, reconcile outstanding balances, and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Receive, process, and apply payments to customer accounts.
• Respond to customer inquiries to address billing disputes, research discrepancies, and assist customers in resolving issues.
• Make collection calls and perform follow up activities for customer accounts receivable payments.
• Prepare and maintain reporting analytics to communicate internally with Operations/Sales/Executive teams when customer issues arise pertaining to the collection of past due invoices or if a customer disputes charges on an invoice.
• Organize and maintain documentation and notes on customer accounts.
• Provide customers with statements weekly and as requested by customers or internal sources.
• Generate monthly supply bill back invoices to customers from vendor invoices by calculating the appropriate margin.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You'll Bring To The Table

• HS Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting department or related position required.
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Prior accounting software/ERP knowledge. NetSuite, Sage (Peachtree), Salesforce.com, Tableau
• Intermediate experience in all Microsoft business applications such as PowerPoint, and Word required
• Must have advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions, to support efficient cash application, account reconciliation, aging analysis and reporting
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate well with different types of people in multiple locations.
• Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail.
