The Position:
The Financial Analyst III, reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, is responsible for conducting quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects for Barrett Distribution Centers. Will continually focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvements.
This position works Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-5pm.
The compensation range for this position is $80-$100K, depending on experience.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Collect and analyze financial information to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
- Report current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
- Oversee and finalize presentations for Quarterly Customer Deal Reviews & Facility Business Reviews & Annual Budget.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and CAPEX.
- Perform analysis of key business information and drivers, presenting recommendations to company decision-makers and stakeholders
- Construct and provide insight on customer P&L statements.
- Key player in maintaining & improving Prophix software environment.
- Collaborates with appropriate staff to gather input and feedback concerning system needs.
- Resolves issues and problems related to system platforms.
- Maintains or assists with maintenance of accounting information systems.
- Prepares or oversees preparation of specifications and technical documentation such as standard operating procedures for new and revised systems.
- Mentors and support development of analysts within the Finance department; considered a “go-to” person for day-to-day questions.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Four (4) to six (6) years’ professional experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling or related field.
- Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in Salesforce and/or Tableau preferred.
- Experience in Prophix, strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
