Barrett Hospital & HealthCare is seeking an Oncology Infusion Nurse/ Program Navigator on our team.
The oncology infusion nurse/program navigator is a professional RN, who follows a set of prescribed guidelines, uses the nursing process, bases care on the resources of the facility, and provides quality cancer care to patients in a timely manner. The candidate will work independently and as part of the oncology team to provide infusion treatments, room clinic patients, and educate patients, families, and team members, with the goal of increasing understanding and augmenting informed decision-making.
The specialty nurse has strong interpersonal communication skills that easily and effectively enable exchange of information between all stakeholders in the oncology program. The nurse can discern the appropriate communication method for each stakeholder.
Minimum Qualifications: An associate’s degree in nursing, BSN preferred and must be licensed in the State of Montana. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required. Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) is highly preferred as well. ACLS and NRP certifications will be required within a reasonable time frame, not to exceed 12 months.
