Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invites applications to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to join our Facilities/Maintenance team. The Maintenance Mechanic maintains and repairs equipment, machinery, physical plant, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for all campus buildings. The Maintenance Mechanic works with external contractors to ensure proper operation of facilities and equipment, responds to maintenance requests promptly and provides all other assigned duties, as necessary. The successful Maintenance Mechanic candidate will possess a high standard of integrity and excellent customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate, GED or equivalent required. Preference will be made for candidates who possess a college degree, have two years related to experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Third-Class Boiler/Engineers License, preferred. Candidates must be willing to obtain Third Class Boiler/ Engineer License within 12 months of hire.
