Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fixed Maintenance Technician to join our team at Leeville operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair of surface and underground mining equipment, including crushers, conveyors, hoists, etc.
- Complete other assigned duties as required.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of conveyor systems is essential.
- Able to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumps.
- Basic fabrication skills, including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc.
- Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, with the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Basic knowledge of hoist and shaft maintenance for an underground mine.
- Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
