About the Role:
- This position involves performing QA/QC functions in the laboratory for daily operations, working closely with laboratory supervisors.
- You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing laboratory instrumentation.
- We are looking for an individual with strong analytical skills who can collect, compile, and analyze large sets of QA/QC analytical data, drawing useful conclusions from datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation and ensure it operates efficiently.
- Collaborate with laboratory technicians to provide chemistry and laboratory technical knowledge.
- Supervise vendor field service engineers during service visits and ensure their safety.
- Conduct research on new laboratory instrumentation and purchase recommendations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 0-5 years of post-graduate experience in a related field.
- Strong supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience in the mining industry, preferably in a production environment.
