We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support services to adults, families and/or children addressing a range of emotional, psychological, and social challenges. Some of the responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and group counseling services to clients
- Conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Staying current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field
- Adhering to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by relevant professional organizations.
Experience:
- Must have IL license or be license eligible and must have Master's degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals with specialty working with teens
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of the impact of medical conditions on mental health.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in conducting mental health evaluations and developing treatment plans.
- Knowledge of working with children and teens is a plus.
