Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee budget and performance objectives, including scheduling, hiring, timecard management, performance evaluations, and terminations.
- Supervise staff and production operations related to equipment preparation, component handling, and the sterile filling process.
- Review and approve discrepancy reports to facilitate product release.
- Lead, attend, and participate in meetings impacting product release and schedule planning.
- Work on projects focused on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, including writing SOPs and project documentation.
- Ensure proper training of staff and maintain accurate training records.
- Direct and oversee activities related to area cleanliness, cleanroom sanitation, sterilization of filling equipment, preparation of vials and ampoules, and completion of sterile filling.
- Ensure staff adherence to safety protocols and compliance with cGMP standards.
- Manage the training and development of supervisory personnel.
- Interpret and enforce SOP compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date training records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of direct experience in a bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- At least six (6) years of experience in a leadership role.
- An advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, Science, or a related field is preferred.
