I'm currently partnering with an exciting mid-sized consulting firm that’s looking to add an Executive Director, COA, to their growing team. This is a fully remote role and a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of professionals, gain invaluable leadership experience, and make a meaningful impact within the organization.
This role is a senior leadership position within the Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) team, responsible for guiding strategic direction, mentoring team members, and overseeing the design and execution of innovative, patient-centered research studies across various therapeutic areas both locally and globally. Key responsibilities include leading COA strategy development to meet diverse client needs, supporting talent attraction and development, allocating resources effectively, and identifying business development opportunities.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD or Master’s degree in psychology, epidemiology, educational psychology, outcomes research, statistics, or sociology, and bring around 20 years of experience in COA research. They will possess deep expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative COA methodologies, with a strong track record of managing complex research projects. A thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, global regulatory and payer landscapes, and the ability to develop innovative, client-focused solutions is essential for success in this role.
