Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to company policies.
- Train new employees on food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and customer service standards.
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and conducting regular stock checks.
- Implement upselling techniques to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining facilities.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry with a strong understanding of food handling practices.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and ability to enforce compliance among staff.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Experience in culinary arts or food preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
