Summary/Objective:
The role of this position is to ensure the effective installation and maintenance of erosion control fencing while also maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse, vehicles, grounds, and equipment. The primary objective is to contribute to the company's commitment to environmental sustainability by implementing erosion control strategies and to ensure a safe, well-maintained, and efficient work environment.
Required Education, Licenses, Certifications, and Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
2. Valid Texas Drivers License (Required)
3. Valid Personal Auto Liability Insurance (Required)
4. At least one year of experience in a similar position (Preferred)
Work authorization/security clearance required:
Must be eligible to work in the United States

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performs maintenance, structural and outside grounds
2. Plan, coordinate, and execute the installation of erosion control measures, including silt fences, sediment basins, erosion blankets, and other relevant solutions
3. Performs routine inspections of buildings and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement
4. Conducts regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and tools to identify issues or signs of wear and tear
5. Performs AM duties and inspection to ensure necessary equipment, vehicle, and materials are prepared for the day
6. Performs PM inventory records and service logs daily.
7. Reports necessary repairs or maintenance to Crew Lead
8. Notifies the Lead and/or Leadership Team when inventory needs to be ordered or replenished
9. Speaks to customers professionally while on-site when applicable
10. Complete work orders when task/activity as instructed
11. Aids in the training of new Field Service Technicians
12. Supports Crew Lead and Leads in Training by assisting with general supervision responsibilities.
13. Proactively takes steps to ensure the efficient adherence to company processes and procedures.
14. Attends weekly meetings with Crew Lead
15. Attends monthly company meetings
16. Performs *other duties as assigned and as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization's values

Physical and Mental Requirements and Abilities
The role of a Field Service Technician 2 often requires the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a predominantly outdoor environment. This environment typically involves frequent activities, interactions, and tasks that must be completed within specified timeframes. Additionally, interruptions and unexpected events may occur, requiring flexibility and adaptability while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Field Service Technician 2 to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The employee frequently sits and/or stands. The employee may occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, and/or move up to 50 to 75 pounds. The employee will frequently use electronic devices, including but not limited to laptop computers, printers, scanners, and other typical office equipment. Various field and office equipment is required; therefore, the employee will constantly use their fingers, hands, wrist, elbow, and any necessary upper and lower extremities. Employees will frequently have to twist, pull, or stretch. The employee will frequently read print or computer material with various text sizes and colors. The employee must view and analyze images, pictures, charts, and graphics. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus with and or without using prescribed or over-the-counter optical glasses, contact lenses, or other visual aids. Occasional travel within and outside the city limits may be exposed to various (fair to extreme) weather conditions.
