Job Purpose
Responsible for posting customer payments, resolving late payments, and administrative support for Barron Equipment's Davenport and Des Moines offices.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Collections & Payments:
- Run cash collections reports, analyze data and contact customers regarding payment status.
- Post customer payments and manage the opening and closing of cash drawers weekly and monthly.
- Invoicing & Customer Communication:
- Generate and send daily invoices for both Davenport and Des Moines offices.
- Send monthly customer statements and manage exemption certificates.
- Set up and maintain new customer accounts and process customer returns.
- Administrative Support:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate employees.
- Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and ensure accurate customer records.
- Customer Service:
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.
- Workplace Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
- Follow Barron Equipment’s policies, safety protocols, and business casual dress code.
- Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned by management.
