What You’ll Do As a Senior Controls Engineer – Data Center, you will lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge automation systems, focusing on SCADA and control systems for mission-critical data center environments. Your responsibilities will include : Developing automation solutions, including design specifications, software configuration, testing, startup and commissioning of data center EPMS and BMS facility support systems. Designing automation control systems, creating technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. Diagnosing and resolving complex automation problems. Programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Rockwell), DDCs (e.g., Distech, Niagara) and SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition, FactoryTalk). Managing project deliverables, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members. Supporting system start-ups, site installations, and integration activities. You’ll Bring A proven track record in control systems engineering, with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in system integration work in mission-critical data center environments. Expertise in designing and implementing PLC, DDC, SCADA, and other related control systems in the context of BMS and EPMS systems. Knowledge of industrial control panel design (UL508A), instrumentation and controls, and engineering documentation such as P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and SOO development. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (preferred). Willingness to travel for project needs, training, and industry events.
