Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Startup and shut down machines as recommended by maintenance
- Operate the machine in such a manner to meet Afinitas quality standards
- Operate the machine in both a safe and productive manner
- Perform required preventative maintenance
- Read prints and complete miters meeting Afinitas standards
- Setup and program saws for automatic cutting operations
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualified operator for all three saws
- Qualified to read prints and complete miters meeting Hawkeye standards
- Qualified to setup and program all three saws for automatic cutting operations
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employees must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.
