Under direct/general supervision, participates in direct patient care during office visits, in-office procedures and the post-operative period for Ophthalmology patients. Supports management to facilitate the day-to-day flow of the practice.

External Hires: This position starts at $25.52 hourly. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications For The Job
- Education: Completion of an accredited ophthalmic technician program.
- OR
- Experience: One (1) year of experience working in an Optometry office which included performing direct patient care.
- OR
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience working in a medical office or practice performing direct patient care, preferably in optometry.
- License(s): None
- Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of hire. Certification as Certified Ophthalmic Technician preferred.
