Job Title: Power Cart Attendant

Reports to: Power Carts Supervisor
Location: Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course

Rate of Pay: $16.50 hr

FLSA Status: hourly, non-exempt

Position Overview

Morton Golf is looking for a Power Cart Attendant who will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of our members and guests. The power cart attendant will oversee the golf cart fleet, ensuring all carts are clean, charged, and ready for use. They will provide excellent customer service, and ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the power carts in the power cart barn.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing guests' needs and inquiries promptly.
• Ensure enough golf carts are on display and available for customers throughout the day.
• Verify each customer's rental agreement and receipt. Verify golfers sign in and sign out for the use of riding carts, rental sets, and pull carts, adhering to safety and insurance guidelines.
• Thoroughly wash and clean each cart after use, ensuring they are ready to use for the next day.
• After cleaning the power carts, store and charge the carts correctly to ensure they are ready for the following day's activities.
• Regularly monitor each cart's usage hours to ensure equitable rotation within the fleet.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• High School diploma required.
• Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of the game of golf and familiarity with services offered at a golf facility preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, maintain professionalism, and communicate effectively.
