Job Summary :
Barton & Gray Mariners Club revolutionized Yachting with a fleet of 80 Hinckley & Custom Yachts. The Club is seeking an experienced Marine Carpenter who will be responsible for the layout, new construction and repair of interior joinery and other associated vessel parts; additional duties include assistance with
general marine systems repairs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and recommend appropriate repairs for malfunction issues
- Diagnose and conduct repair work of interior boat joinery and parts
- Cut, assemble and install various boat parts including doors, paneling, rails and trim
- Fabricate custom and install prefabricated boat parts including hardware and seating
- Meet project and budget timelines
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work area
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities :
Valid, unencumbered drivers license
Preferred Education and Experience :
Organized and self motivated
Physical Requirements :
water
Ability to stand intermittently with minimal rest periods for eight hours
