Job Summary :
This position is offered as seasonal full-time or part-time, working directly with the Barton & Gray’s captain team to support the day to day needs of the port including vessel cleaning and coordination of onboard provisions. This position will work with multiple departments within Barton & Gray to facilitate the port running smoothly and ensure a high quality member experience.
Responsibilities :
Assist captains with removing mooring covers.
Assist captains with the turnover and cleaning of boats in between watches.
Prepare boats for scheduled outings.
Maintain cleanliness of the yachts : wash, polish chrome, clean teak floors, clean engine compartments, replace oil sorbs as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities :
Must have reliable transportation.
Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
Strong organization and communication skills.
Ability to work on a team and independently.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
