Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location : Kansas
Type of Facility : Hospital
Length of Assignment : 13 Weeks
Start Date : Immediately
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, with one weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac / stress studies, renal scans, cerebral viability tests, HIDA scans, SPECT imaging, bone scans, shuntograms, gastric clearance studies, pulmonary scans, parathyroid imaging, MUGA scans, and cisternography
- Work with patients from various departments including ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, and ER
- Operate equipment such as Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte
- Handle unit doses (no on-site compounding required)
- Collaborate with a team of 3 staff members and 2 full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologists from another campus
- Participate in on-call rotation
