We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to add to our growing team in Syracuse, NY. As a member of our team, you will support the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks to ensure seamless HR processes and alignment with B&L’s culture and core values.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist HR Manager with employee onboarding, verifying I-9 forms, FMLA and disability requests, and other confidential tasks, as assigned.
- Support the Recruiting team with job postings, HRIS support, college recruiting activities, candidate interview coordination and resume reviews.
- Assist HR in maintaining HRIS, internal database and electronic filing systems.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of special events such as employee recognition events, holiday parties and periodic office gatherings.
- Complete EEO report requests for various projects and/or employees.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries and provide information to employees as needed.
- Other administrative projects as assigned by the team.
