Temp to hire Admin Assistant 1st shift 8am-4:30pm Located in Forest Park IL
JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Support Admin in a global distributor of home fitness equipment. We are currently searching for a talented candidate to support our Sales & Customer Service activities. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and driven to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Principal Duties: Support the Sales staff in the execution of customer service / back-office administration duties. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Navigating customer service issues related to freight charges and claims
- Coordinating shipment and delivery details with customers - Maintaining and distributing required reports both internally and externally
- Researching customer account issues and addressing as needed - Managing returns and customer complaints
- Other Administrative tasks including but not limited to invoicing orders, answering the company main phone line, and handling outbound mail pickups.
Job Requirements:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
- Comfortable working in a small company environment
- Detail oriented - Organizational skills
- Comfortable working with various departments Additional Preferred skills / experience:
- Prior experience with freight claims management - Prior customer service experience
- Experience working within an ERP
Pay & Benefits:
- Base pay beginning at $18/hour (evaluated based upon experience)
