We're looking for a sharp, resourceful, and highly organized Executive Assistant who also has strong paralegal/legal assistant skills. This is not a “clock-in and manage a calendar” kind of job. You’ll be the right hand to a busy executive—handling legal tasks, managing a mix of high-stakes and day-to-day work, and helping streamline operations across legal and personal fronts. The role will evolve as the executive continues refining how to leverage top-tier support.

Key Responsibilities
Executive and Personal Support
- Track outstanding items, follow-ups, and ensure deadlines don’t fall through the cracks.
- Coordinate and manage both professional and personal scheduling, including appointments, meetings, and events.
- Run personal errands and assist with time-sensitive needs.
- Draft, revise, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain and organize legal files and records, both digital and physical.
- Track and manage open claims, case updates, and legal deadlines.
- Perform legal research and summarize findings clearly and accurately.
- Prepare and file legal documents in compliance with local/state/federal requirements.
- Assist with community outreach efforts, including scheduling, contacting stakeholders, and event coordination.
- Prepare materials and correspondence for public or community events.
- Record team tasks, update progress logs, and hold team members accountable for deliverables.
- Help implement systems to ensure clarity and follow-through across business functions.
- Experience: 2 years in an Executive Assistant or Legal Assistant/Paralegal role. Strong preference for hybrid experience in both.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong legal writing, drafting, and research abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office--including word, planner, and outlook--and basic case management/document software.
- Comfortable juggling a wide range of responsibilities with minimal handholding.
- Personal Traits:
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, and ability to operate under pressure.
- Proactive mindset
- Highly dependable and detail-oriented.
- Experience working in Missouri legal environments or with Missouri real estate/land law.
- Previous exposure to startup or fast-paced small business operations.
- CRM or outreach campaign tool familiarity.
