In this role, you will work in an outpatient setting, providing care to adult patients with various types of cancer and blood disorders. Your expertise in hematology and oncology will be essential in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with complex medical conditions, including cancer and blood disorders. Your duties will include ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You will also be responsible for documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMRs) and maintaining accurate records of patient interactions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in internal medicine and completion of a fellowship program in hematology and oncology. You should also have experience in managing patients with complex medical conditions and be proficient in using EMRs. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
