Cancer Care Team
We are seeking a skilled Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at our outpatient free-standing community cancer center in Berwyn, IL. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care, and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, including those with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, diagnosis, and treatment preferences
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care, including nurses, social workers, and administrative staff
Requirements
- Board Certification in Hematology or Oncology (or Board Eligible with plans to obtain certification)
- Active Illinois Medical License
- Experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in a community cancer center
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
