Base-2 Solutions is seeking a motivated Technical Manager to join our prime contract to help lead the day-to-day operations of a DoD/IC Zero Trust effort.
Job Description:

Work closely with the program manager and engineering director to understand requirements, define project scopes, and create detailed project plans.

Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Ensure that all projects align with business goals and deliver value to users.

Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.

Oversee the team's daily activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and support the professional growth of team members.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.

Review and improve existing codebases, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality products.

Define and enforce coding standards, version control practices, and continuous integration/deployment processes.

Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SI with CI poly
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 1 years in a leadership or management role.
