What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Instructor - Baseball World Training School position at Baseball World Training School?
Baseball World Training School is an all-day Connecticut state-licensed instructional camp, which emphasizes the fundamental skills, drills, and strategies for boys and girls ages 5-15 regardless of their skill level. Players will participate in daily instruction and intra-squad games. Each week, we invite a current or former Major League baseball player, manager, or coach to visit the school to conduct a clinic.
We are seeking a qualified Head instructor, who will be responsible for executing daily drills in collaboration with the Director; and supervision of young players in their designated skill group. To be successful, a head instructor must possess the ability to communicate with players/parents and staff; be a team player and have a passion for baseball; and have the physical stamina to pitch to young players. Knowledge of the sport is key. We are ready to hire someone who approaches each day with a good work ethic, energy, and a positive attitude.

- Camper ages: 5-15 years old
- Time Commitment: Available for staff training on June 28 and at five weeks of camp (8:15AM-3:00PM)
- Location: Wakeman Field/Bedford Middle School, Westport
- Lunch: Provided daily and free to staff
- Camp Dates: June 30, 2025 - August 1, 2025 (We are closed on July 4)
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $21.82 - $24.17 per hour
