Cornerstone Medical Training Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Billing and Coding Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in medical billing, coding, and healthcare administration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging curriculum aligned with industry standards (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Provide instruction in medical billing, insurance claims processing, coding procedures, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Prepare students for national certification exams such as CPC, CCA, or CBCS.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and hands-on practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry changes and coding updates.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to students to support their career development.
Requirements:
- Certification in Medical Billing & Coding (CPC, CCS, CCA, or CBCS preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in medical billing and coding.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
