Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver to join our team. The Transportation Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers to and from our facilities. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at our Forney location!
Key Responsibiliites:
- Safely transport patients within a 30–35-mile radius to and from our facility campus and other designated locations.
- Maintain detailed logs of mileage and gasoline usage, ensuring timely submission of gas receipts.
- Keep the vehicle's interior clean and presentable for patient transport.
- Maintain mileage records to schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
- Supervise patients with a focus on safety, respect, and dignity.
- Assist with line of sight and ensuring safety of our patients.
- Provide assistance with light to moderate maintenance responsibilities at the Academy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance.
- Experience working with adolescents and behavioral health environment
- At least one year of professional experience driving 15-passenger vans is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service position.
