We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer II to join our team in Freeport, TX.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing hardware/software associated with various control systems (DCS/SIS/PLC), as well as implementing lifecycle strategies, status checks, and diagnostics for installed controls systems. They will also be expected to maintain spare parts inventory, provide functional specification review, control system configuration, and participate in factory acceptance testing on capital projects, collaborate with Engineering and Operations for Front End Loading on capital projects, and maintain equipment files and up-to-date drawings, including P&IDs, loop drawings, etc.
Required skills and qualifications include a 2-year I/E or Operations degree with 2 years field experience or 5 years I/E or Operations field experience. Preferred skills include 5 years I/E or Operations field experience with related 2-year degree, familiarity with industrial plant instrumentation and associated wiring, ability to diagnose/trouble shoot electronics and/or software issues, experience with industrial plant operations and control concepts, and ability to work in a team environment.
