The Cellasto Technician will assist in all areas of the BASF Cellasto facility in production of urethane jounce bumpers. This position will be hands-on manufacturing including interfacing with products and equipment.

During your 12-hour straight night shift as a Cellasto Technician I you will…
- Operate, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and maintain cryogenic deflashing machines, mold lines and/or other HMI-controlled equipment, as well as reporting problems as needed to Supervision. Use various hand tools, electric pallet jacks, pneumatic tools, walk-behind floor scrubber, electric and pneumatic bin lifters and scan guns
- Wear and utilize all personal protective equipment (PPE) specified by Cellasto, the Wyandotte site, OSHA and all other regulatory agencies
- Understand the total concept of the Cellasto process to meet customer requirements and must be able to interact and communicate with Visual, Planning, Impact, Maintenance and Reactor Room Departments in the Cellasto Plant.
- Assist in the development and revision of operating procedures for operations including shutdown, startup, and normal operation.
- Support efficient movement of materials from inspection/assembly lines to staging area for transfer to warehouse
- Package, label and transport product throughout the plant as needed
If you...
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Have 6 months of manufacturing, production, assembly, operations or industrial experience. Chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
- Can lift 30lbs during a shift, standing and walking for extended periods of time and / or climbing of stairs (with reasonable accommodation if needed)
