WELCOME TO BASF
Our Global Mobility & Business Travel Services department is responsible for the demand-oriented and legally secure provision of services for personnel transfers. In the Mobility Admin. Services - Payments & Invoicing team, we support our customers with the compliant processing of invoices and accurate reporting of transfer related costs. Accurate billing and invoicing in accordance with internal guidelines and external regulations contributes crucially to BASF’s talent mobility and bottom line.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- As a Specialist in the Payments & Invoicing team you act as a contact partner for internal and external partners in relation to employee transfer related cross-charging and invoicing topics. Additionally, you interface to other mobility teams, providing guidance and support in the proper execution of process steps for billing and invoicing.
- You take ownership of the processing of internal Service Charges for Global Mobility Services – EMEA and support the billing process from creation of POs to payments and clear rejected invoices.
- Additionally, you prepare, track, and manage relevant documents, such as Service Level Agreements used for cross-charging purposes.
- Furthermore, you perform quality checks, collaborating directly with stakeholders to resolve errors and support with FRC process controls as well as contributing to knowledge management regarding documenting billing and invoicing processes.
- Finally, you participate and support in measures to streamline internal EMEA billing and charging processes through alignment with Business Reporting and Controlling units.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- university degree in Business Administration / Corporate Finance / Economics or similar
- professional experience in finance and controlling; experience in inter-company billing is a plus
- experience working in SAP or a comparable ERP system as well as competency in Excel and / or other data analysis tools
- business fluency in English and German
- customer-oriented mindset and a structured, independent, and process-oriented way of working demonstrating analytical skills.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Gross annual salary (full-time): 40.000 - 46.000 €, depending on qualification and work experience.
- In addition, you can expect a bonus dependent on the company's success as well as individual performance.
- Flexible working hours so that you can organize your working and private life according to your needs.
- Work mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeks.
- Location-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany.
