As a member of the Supply Chain Team, the Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for supply chain management, planning and procurement of materials and products to meet company objectives as well as customer requirements. Will work in a team-based environment and support other areas as needed. Supply Chain Specialist will manage inventory levels in accordance with company goals and guidelines.
As a Supply Chain Specialist (ECT-Chemetall), you create chemistry by...
• Analyzing, maintaining, and fully utilizing MRP to create purchase orders and follow up.
• Evaluating production demand to provide a commitment to new sales orders and delivery when products are finished.
• Being able to work and communicate well with all levels of internal management and teams.
• Processing / Maintaining / Analyzing Data
• Developing, implementing, and enforcing SHE goals and objectives of facility.
• Communicating sensitive information and feedback to vendors, customer service, and supply chain.
• Creating reports and information packages.
• Monitoring and maintaining material master data, opening purchase orders, and stock transfer orders to ensure SAP dates are accurate and updated; assisting with overflow work from other colleagues.
• Maintaining detailed records, generating reports, and developing presentations.
• Managing and overseeing stock levels of warehouse inventory and purchasing flow for multiple locations.
• Collaborating with others from diverse backgrounds to identify problems and find solutions.
• Working in other areas of Supply Chain as dictated by workforce demand and Supply Chain Team Leader and Manager.
If you...
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with supply chain / supply chain management.
- BS Degree is preferred.
- Possess experience in Materials Requirements Planning, Production Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Creating Purchase Orders, and SAP experience preferred.
- Are able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure, and challenging environment, handling multiple projects/assignments at one time.
- Have strong organizational, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Possess excellent computer skills including Excel, creation of formulas and strong analytical skills.
- Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written being a team focused participative.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail.
