Job Description
The Assistant Night Operations Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless store operations. Focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, this individual collaborates closely with the Night Operations Team Lead to achieve store and team goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing night crew personnel to meet service level and merchandising objectives.
- Communicating effectively with the store team lead and merchandising manager.
- Ordering general department products (grocery, non-foods, HBC, frozen foods, and liquor) to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Stocking and merchandising general department products according to sales and merchandising department standards.
- Unloading trailers, receiving merchandise, auditing received goods, breaking down cases, and positioning products in warehouses, sales floors, or walk-in coolers.
- Maintaining full shelves and attractive floor displays while building engaging aisle and front-end exhibits.
- Ensuring accurate product pricing, signage, and placement, as well as proper use of shelf tags and signage.
- Keeping work areas, warehouses, and floors clean, neat, and orderly.
- Attentively stocking dated perishable products, rotating them as necessary for quality and safety.
