What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Cashier/Customer Service position at Basic Nutrition?
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, professional who can work well with others and deliver exceptional customer service to our valued loyal customers. The right candidate will demonstrate exceptional customer service and selling skills, be knowledgeable in all product categories, and be ready to assist customers with their needs.
- Assist in managing the entire store and report to management on a regular basis.
- Exemplify key concepts of hospitality when interacting with inspectors, associates, and customers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to their inquiries and needs.
- Ensures that all customers receive good service.
- Maintains open and flexible availability to accommodate store needs.
- Ensures company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times.
- Assists in the maintenance of the store to ensure cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Stocks and organizes merchandise as necessary.
- Assists in ordering merchandise as directed by store managers.
- Assists in receiving regular vendor deliveries.
- Knowledgeable on all pricing and signage.
- Assist management and associates in achieving service and labor objectives as directed.
- Performs any other duties as directed by supervisors.
- Deliver clear expectations and follow-through on assigned tasks in management’s absence.
This position is part-time (15-25 hours)

Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Computer literacy
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience preferred
- Reliable transportation is required
