The Consumer Insights Analyst role is dedicated to driving functional excellence and fostering a deep understanding of the consumer through valuable insights, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving. This position focuses on category analytics across multiple platforms to deliver actionable insights to various teams. Leveraging your expertise with syndicated data, you will equip the sales and planning teams with forward-thinking opportunities to drive business growth. Your ability to synthesize data and present it clearly and concisely will be crucial in achieving consensus within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to support various business initiatives. Regularly update and distribute these tools to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Gain a deep understanding of the apparel market, particularly focusing on socks and underwear. Analyze how our products are used by customers and identify potential areas for growth to better meet their needs.
- Assist in the generation of valuable insights for complex projects, working both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Use data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
- Utilize syndicated point-of-sale data, consumer behavior insights, demographic information, and retail trend data to build fact-based insights. These insights will support the sales and product teams in making strategic decisions.
- Use creativity and initiative to address challenges and find innovative ways to present data. Identify and explore "white space" opportunities that can drive business growth.
- Demonstrate polished verbal and written communication skills, adapting your style to suit different audiences. Ensure that your communication is clear, concise, and persuasive.
- Take ownership of data attribution, organization, and maintenance within various reporting platforms. Ensure data integrity and accuracy to support reliable reporting.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of analytical experience, Apparel preferred
- Experience in using syndicated data, building dashboards and manual manipulation.
- Skilled in translating data and analytics to meaningful, easily understood insights using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & PowerBI. Experience with Circana, Nielsen, and Scintilla (Luminate) platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on group initiatives, work proactively and accomplish tasks/projects on tight timelines
- Agility conducive to a fast-paced ambiguous environment
