Job Title: Senior Pizzaiolo and Culinary Team Member
We are seeking an experienced Senior Pizzaiolo and Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting pizzas, as well as assisting with menu planning and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist with menu planning and development to meet customer demand.
- Conduct daily inventory of ingredients and supplies to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to improve their pizza-making skills.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and sous chef to plan and execute special events and promotions.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in culinary arts preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and local health codes.
