What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auxiliary Teacher position at BASIS ED?
BASIS Goodyear is seeking qualified candidates for Auxiliary Teachers/Coaches to start ASAP! This is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position.
Pay: BASIS Ed offers a competitive hourly pay for this position.
Required Qualifications:
- HS diploma, Bachelor's preferred
- Previous coaching experience
- Experience working with young athletes
- Ability to demonstrate soccer skills effectively
- Experience in playing soccer at a competitive level
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities:
- Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of soccer (starting from how to kick a ball properly)
- Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
- Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
- Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
