The BASIS Education AZ Marketing and Design department serves as the in-house advertising agency to support the growth of BASIS Charter Schools. You will work with a team of marketers and designers creating compelling integrated, national multi-channel campaigns and meaningful marketing materials. This role is hybrid, with part of the week at our office in Scottsdale.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work directly with school representatives to define and scope needs of marketing material requests.
- Assist social media managers by participating in the management of multiple online communities and providing performance metrics support.
- Craft compelling and SEO-optimized content for various marketing channels, leveraging keyword research and best practices
- Oversee content marketing projects from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality content that meets project objectives.
- Outsmart the competition: Who are we up against? Research and uncover ways to stay ahead of the curve.
- Find amazing ad opportunities: Think outside the box and help us reach our target audience in creative and impactful ways.
- Be the guardian of our online presence: QA checks, updates, and making sure everything runs smoothly.
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:
- Organization and Project Management: Master scheduling, agendas, and ensuring smooth team execution.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Translate marketing data into actionable insights and compelling reports.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize marketing automation tools, Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (such as Asana), analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and other data visualization software.
- Analyze social media performance metrics to maximize brand visibility and engagement and make suggestions for improvement across the network.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of experience in marketing coordination or a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of social media and general marketing principles.
- Experience using data analytics software for research and insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Passion for marketing and a genuine desire to learn and grow.
