The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in the design process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Duties
- Draft and prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create shop drawings and layouts for various projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand design requirements.
- Modify existing drawings based on feedback from engineers or project managers.
- Maintain organized files of all drafts and revisions for easy access by team members.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
- Experience in creating schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and modifications.
