Description
Office Manager for Neurosurgery Practice. Day to day running of the office, management of staff schedules, training and maintaining competency of staff, hiring and firing of staff including Medical Assistant positions. Maintaining a professional work environment with primary goal of high quality Neurological care and exceptional customer care experience.
Accountability
The Office Manager reports directly to the Doctors of the division. Interaction with other departments in the company, such as HR or Payroll, will be common.
Job Responsibilities
· Delegate work to staff, cross train staff, fill in positions when staff are not available at various positions due to time off and sick leave
· Oversee EPIC rescheduling and physician call/office schedule
· Banking & bill pay
· Hiring & firing of staff
· Staff evaluations
· Approving time off and vacations
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications
· 2-3 years' experience as an office manager in medical setting
· Experience with EPIC EMR
· Experience with hiring and firing
Preferred Qualifications
· Microsoft Office, including Excel
· Paylocity or other payroll software experience
· Digital phone system experience
· Troubleshooting office computers and equipment
Requirements
· Ability to sit for extended periods
· Fill in tasks when staff absent
· Able to lift 20-30 lbs (medical and office supplies)

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$27.00-$69.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).*
