Candidate If You Have The Following Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant law firm experience
- Proficiency in:
- Insolvency Analysis (detailed review of client documents)
- Bankruptcy (Chapters 7 and 11, including Subchapter V) procedures (debtor, creditor, and trustee work), adversary proceedings, bankruptcy petition/schedules preparation software (BestCase)
- Must have Client Management Skills
- E-discovery document review platforms (such as Logikcull and Relativity) with ability to properly upload production of documents/review of same; prepare and manage outgoing production of documents
- Time management and organization, with attention to detail
- Federal court litigation, including discovery, tracking and meeting deadlines, contact with the courts, court reporters, scheduling hearings, etc.
- PACER filing
- Additional experience/knowledge in Multi-State and Federal Court System Filings is a plus
- Microsoft Office Suite/Adobe
- Document management systems
- Timekeeping software
- A self-starter, able to handle a varied caseload with numerous deadlines, with minimal supervision
- A team player- able to effectively communicate with clients, co-workers, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Able to prioritize tasks and track billable time
- BA/BS and/or paralegal certificate a plus
