ISO/AS9100 Auditor (BT-25031)

The ISO/AS9100 Auditor will support the Safety and Mission Assurance Support (SMAS) contract in Huntsville, AL (Marshall Space Flight Center).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supports audits as a Lead Auditor/Auditor per MPR 1280.6, Management Systems Internal Audits, for MSFC audit program as needed and as coordinated with MSFC Audit Manager.
• Reviews requirements documents and other associated documents in preparation for and execution of internal audits at Marshall Space Flight Center and Michoud Assembly Facility, to ensure compliance to all requirements leveed on that organization.
• Ensures all findings are appropriately documented in the Audit Tracking and Information System (ATIS), and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) are completed by Auditees and communicated through the Auditee's Organizational Representatives in ATIS.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have a bachelor's degree in the field of business, engineering, or a related field.
• Must have 10 years of recent and related work experience.
• In lieu of degree: Candidates with 14 years of recent and related work experience will be considered.

WORK LOCATION:

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule; subject to change if needed.
• This position may require some travel.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:

DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED:

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time).
• May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
