Entry Qualifications
- Texas teaching certification
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Clear and valid Texas driver's license
Knowledge of

Management Of Administrative, Fiscal, And/or Facilities Functions
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality candidates in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources.
- Develop and direct the current and long-range plans, policies, and guidelines for the assigned programs and services; continuously assess and seek improvements or updates to enhance program effectiveness; provide materials, guidance, and direction for teachers and campus contacts; visit campuses; provide on-site observations; and attend meetings as necessary.
- Coordinate departmental activities with other District offices and administrators; assist as requested.
- Respond to campus support needs and work with newly hired teaching staff to provide resources to meet those needs.
- Provide best practice guidance for instructional and multi-tiered systems of support programs and district practices.
- Coordinate district-wide initiatives resulting in improved retention rates for the district.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Student Services and the Curriculum and Instruction department to implement processes to strengthen new hire onboarding and support effective coaching and mentoring systems.
- Help research, develop, and implement training programs that support teachers and principals in addressing key school and district priorities.
- Design and implement a district-wide professional development system that supports educators through job-embedded learning, professional learning communities, and training aligned with district goals and staff needs.
- Conduct presentations and professional development opportunities.
- Assist campus administrators and teacher leaders in leading, supporting, and facilitating a variety of professional learning activities to improve teacher retention.
- Provide leadership for implementing a teacher career pathway plan, including developing teacher leaders at the campus level.
- Ensure talent and performance management efforts support better efficiency and effectiveness across programs and operations.
- Manage the process of analyzing educator evaluation data to provide teachers with individual coaching and support plans.
