Job Summary:
Works with maintenance manager, supervisors, and technicians to stock and maintain a spare parts warehouse. Manages preventative maintenance plans for equipment involving schedules and parts required. Works closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure that all preventative maintenance is completed on time. Reviews equipment usage data and failure trends to determine spare parts stock with their relevant stock quantities. Record and maintain list of open issues by machine and department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain PM schedules
- Maintain accurate records of critical component rebuilds to help predict future rebuild requirements
- Develop and maintain spare parts inventory with relevant stock levels
- Research alternatives for replacement components
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance field
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field
Essential Mental Functions:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work with OEMs
- Ability to research and dictate component specifications
Essential Physical Functions:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to operate forklift/pallet jack/hand and power tools
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 95% of the normal work day (shift)
