MAGNITUDE OF PRIMARY CONTRIBUTION(S):
- Single point of responsibility for all production including the development and implementation of best-in-class production systems to accommodate 50% YOY growth (2022P $120M annual).
- Champion, promote and model BASX articulated culture with a focus on maximizing human capital efficiency.
ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:
- Production Manager provides direct oversight to the Assistant Production Managers as they execute day to day production operations.
- Develop executable strategies to accommodate production capacity growth consistent with the mission and strategy of the company.
- Identify fundamental deficiencies in production operations and implement sustainable strategies to correct key causes.
- Works with Director of Operations with critical focus on achieving or surpassing projected gross profit margins.
- Collaboratively cultivate an environment of manufacturing excellence with a production wide commitment to continuous improvement, quality and meeting customer commitments
- Be a driving force in the promotion of the company culture with a focus on maximizing human capital and reducing worker fatigue.
- Define performance metrics/KPI’s for measurement, comparison, and evaluation of the production team to consistently deliver on BASX mission to provide industry leading customer service and employee satisfaction.
- Primary Point of Contact to facilitate production needs that are not otherwise resolved at the APM level.
- Evaluates production staffing needs as a function of the overall direction of the company.
DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY TASKS:
- Lead weekly group meeting with DR’s to evaluate performance against plans and ensure complete and effective communication.
- Individual bi-weekly meeting with DR’s to mentor and discuss work execution and leader/manager effectiveness.
- Weekly meeting with Director of Operations to ensure cross departmental collaboration and communication.
- Meet with Director of Operations relating to production planning and daily production meetings ensuring a robust and effective process exists.
- Participate in meetings daily providing leadership direction and escalation path for challenge resolution.
- Proactive, continuous assessment of production processes to ensure adequate systems and controls exist to promote the timely and accurate flow of information occurs companywide.
- Provide monthly updates to Director of Operations regarding production strategy. This includes assessments focused on production performance, facility requirements, and organizational structure.
- Lead monthly meetings with Director of Operations and key team members to develop and execute key growth initiatives for production functions.
- Bi-weekly KPI meetings with APMs to ensure performance of the production team meets expectations.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in operations / quality management, engineering, business or relates field.
- Custom or ETO manufacturing experience required.
- Servant leader mentality, with emphasis on building relationships and growth of employees.
- Values driven leadership style to guide and develop team in alignment with the BASX's culture and business goals.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- High-level leadership and decision-making skills.

Salary : $102,876 - $139,186
