Description:
- Able to weld MIG (TIG and Aluminum a plus).Experience with 1G 2F 2G 3G and 4G welding procedures
- Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
- Cut metal using torch and following diagrams or sketches.
- Perform related tasks, such as plasma cutting and grinding.
- Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts.
- Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
- Experience with .035, .045 hard wire MIG welding.
- Experience with sheet metal, galvanized steel and aluminum
- Able to read a tape measure
- Able to read blueprints
- Must have knowledge of tools of the trade
- Able to work independently and with others
- May operate the following: Shear, Chop Saw, Cutoff Saw, Drill, Die Grinder, Notcher, Drill Press, Grinder, Bandsaw, Forklift, etc.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Work well in a team-orientated environment
- The ideal candidate will also have great attention to detail
- Experience using a variety of welding/cutting equipment and procedures
- Can convert fractions to decimals and read a tape measure
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
- 1-3 years of welding experience - preferred
