What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist non-certified position at Bates County Memorial Hospital?
Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory, Lead Tech, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Laboratory Bench Technologist the phlebotomist collects, identifies, and distributes patient specimens in accordance with workload requirements. Performs point of care testing and other technical procedures related to patient care as a part of a multi-skilled effort. Performs routine technical, clerical, and cleaning tasks within the laboratory.
