Pharmacy Tech - Non-Certified

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform related clerical duties. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of pharmacy related tasks. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. High school diploma or its equivalent and 0-3 years of clinical experience in a related field. Will be expected to meet certain state registration and/or certifications. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the pharmacy field.
